TACA holds monthly meetings in many locations throughout the United States that feature educational speakers on important topics and allow family members to connect with one another and stay on top of the latest information in the autism world. Each TACA group maintains a resource library of the latest autism books and DVDs/CDs that can be checked out by members at no charge.

DIR Support Services

DIR support services are based on the Developmental Individual Difference Relationship-based model (DIR), developed by Stanley Greenspan, MD and Serena Weider, Ph.D. DIR is also referred to as Floortime and helps to focus on children's challenges and strengths. Their practice provides small group sessions, coaching for parents and caregivers, home and school consultations, and workshops. They also offer occupational therapy and Interactive Metronome training.
