TACA holds monthly meetings in many locations throughout the United States that feature educational speakers on important topics and allow family members to connect with one another and stay on top of the latest information in the autism world. Each TACA group maintains a resource library of the latest autism books and DVDs/CDs that can be checked out by members at no charge.

Our Washington team offers monthly meetings at Bates Technical College (South Campus) in Tacoma providing support opportunities for families throughout the Puget Sound community. Meeting times are updated regularly - please check back for updates.

Vision Evaluation and Therapy

If a child is having difficulty seeing in conjunction with a communication disorder, it only makes things more complicated for the child. Dr. Haws works with all age patients and serves as a pediatric specialist with state and local preschools & health care providers for an infant/toddler early intervention program.

Obtaining the Services you Need and Meet Nick

In 1994, when her second child was diagnosed with autism, Ms. Yates focused her legal practice exclusively on special education to help her son obtain the educational services he needed. Since then, Ms. Yates has helped hundreds of children obtain vital educational services. Nick, who starts college this fall, will join his mom to share their personal story.
